The City of Leeds Next Generation of Designers
Brief: This was a competition, commissioned by Electric Design and run by Gloss Recruitment, the aim was to create a campaign that reflected Leeds and encouraged more young people in the region to pursue careers in the creative industry.
For my winning competition entry, I worked closely with Katherine Howard (copywriter) to come up with a tagline - Be a creative not a sheep – that would appeal to the target audience and also be relatable to the city. The sheep and colour scheme not only represent the region’s sprawling countryside and the city’s football team respectively, they also feature in Leeds City Council’s logo.
